With so much reverence, love, honor and respect we bring to you the tale of The Brave Apache Warriors, whose legendary Apache Tears stem from.
The name of the Apache Tears comes from a Native American legend. The Apache Leap is a place in Arizona where a mass Suicide happened. As Apache Warriors were cornered by U.S Calvary sometime in the early 1870’s, the last 25 warriors chose to ride off the leap on their horses. They fell 500 ft to their deaths with dignity rather than succumb to their enemy. At this point they had already lost 50 Apache warriors.
Legends of the surviving widows claim:
“Their sadness was so great, and their burden of sorrow so sincere that the Great Father imbedded into black stones the tears of The Apache Woman who mourned their dead. These Black obsidian stones, when held to the light, reveal the translucent tear of the Apache”
It is said that they cried not only for themselves but for all of humanity.
Your not alone and you are held.
